    The original British miniseries (1985) starring Bob Peck was phenomenal. One of my all time favorites. But that was a deep complicated 4+ hour story- hope they can capture it in 2 hour movie format. If you see this and end up liking it track down the 1985 version, you'll get more detail, Bob Peck Awsomeness and C.I.A. agent Jedburgh- a character you'll never forget.

    why does it look crap? I can see that it looks different but crap? Maybe you don't like it but others might. It's a different view of the story so of course it's different.

    But worse than that it's actually a remake of one of the best TV series of the 1980's. The original was a thoughtful, psychological drama (and totally brilliant). This looks crap (even though the director is the guy behind the original!!!!).
